We were able to successfully operate safely in 2020 by closely following all state and local guidelines, as well as implementing additional safety protocols. This included reducing the number of participants on the WhoaZone, sanitizing life jackets between each use, daily sanitizing of the WhoaZone and following social distancing guidelines.
Yes. The Snack Zone offers a variety of food options including entrees, snacks, ice cream and beverages.
No, you can purchase your pass onsite. We operate on a first come, first serve basis so we strongly recommend securing your spot in advance by booking online.
For the Splash Zone, You must be at least 7 years old and 45β in height to enter.
For the Kid's Splash Zone, You must be at least 4 years old and between 39β and 59" in height to enter.

YES. Every participant must sign a waiver in order to participate.

No . There is no fee to use Heron Beach, but a Recreation Passport is required for entry to the Holly Recreation Area.
Yes. We will be closed when the beach is closed due to inclement weather.
The WhoaZone at Heron Beach offers two floating obstacle course as well as food concessions.
Heron Beach offers stand-up paddleboard, canoe and kayak rentals, disc golf course, toilets, grilling area, boat launch, swimming, sand volleyball courts, walking and bike trails.
Yes, but there is a PARK WIDE ALCOHOL BAN that is strictly enforced. Addidtionally, glass containers are prohibited on the beach.
1 HOUR. Each Splash is 1 HOUR and includes a 10 - minute Safety Orientation and Rules of Conduct review. The Reviews usually start in 10 minutes before each session, so the actual time spent on the obstacle course is 50 - 55 minutes.
YES. The park is cleared of all participants at the end of each Splash. All participants will be required to attend the orientation again regardless of if they did it before.
