DO YOU HAVE PLACES TO PURCHASE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AT THE PARK?

Yes. The Snack Zone offers a variety of food options including entrees, snacks, ice cream and beverages.

HOW DEEP IS THE WATER?
8 feet.
CAN I BRING MY OWN LIFE JACKET?
No. Participants must use life jackets provided by the WhoaZone.
ARE LIFE JACKETS PROVIDED?
Yes. Sizes Youth through Adult XXXL are available.
DO I NEED A RESERVATION TO ENTER THE WHOAZONE?
No. You can purchase your pass on site, but we are a first come, first serve business.
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
Yes. We require this for your safety.
DO I NEED TO COME WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN?
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to accompany you and sign the waiver.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ENTER THE WHOAZONE?

For the Splash Zone, You must be at least 7 years old and 45” in height to enter.

For the Kid's Splash Zone, You must be at least 4 years old and between 39” and 59" in height to enter.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY SESSION?
CASH, CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD.
MUST I SIGN A WAIVER TO PARTICIPATE?

YES. Every participant must sign a waiver in order to participate.

ARE PRICES THE SAME FOR ADULTS AS CHILDREN?

YES. Each Splash option is the same price, regardless of age.

CAN I WEAR AQUA SOCKS?
Yes, aqua socks can be worn in the WhoaZone.
CAN I USE MY SELFIE STICK ON THE WHOAZONE INFLATABLES?
No. We do not allow selfie sticks on the WhoaZone Inflatables because of the danger of injuring other people as well as possibly popping the inflatables. You may bring your GO Pros on the WhoaZone inflatables but if they fall into the water no one is allowed to dive under and retrieve it. You will be bringing them on at your own risk.
IS THERE A FEE TO USE HERON BEACH?

No . There is no fee to use Heron Beach, but a Recreation Passport is required for entry to the Holly Recreation Area.

ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
No we are not pet friendly, but we do allow service dogs .
DOES THE PARK EVER CLOSE FOR BAD WEATHER?

Yes. We will be closed when the beach is closed due to inclement weather.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT HERON BEACH?

The WhoaZone at Heron Beach offers two floating obstacle course as well as food concessions.

Heron Beach offers stand-up paddleboard, canoe and kayak rentals, disc golf course, toilets, grilling area, boat launch, swimming, sand volleyball courts, walking and bike trails.

CAN WE BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IN COOLERS?

Yes, but there is a PARK WIDE ALCOHOL BAN that is strictly enforced. Addidtionally, glass containers are prohibited on the beach.

MUST I WEAR A LIFE JACKET AT ALL TIMES?
Yes. All participants are required to wear an approved life jacket at all times while on the equipment.
HOW LONG IS EACH SPLASH?

1 HOUR. Each Splash is 1 HOUR and includes a 10 - minute Safety Orientation and Rules of Conduct review. The Reviews usually start in 10 minutes before each session, so the actual time spent on the obstacle course is 50 - 55 minutes.

IF I PAY FOR A DOUBLE OR SUPER SPLASH, DO I HAVE TO LEAVE THE WATER AND ATTEND THE SAFETY ORIENTATION AGAIN?

YES. The park is cleared of all participants at the end of each Splash. All participants will be required to attend the orientation again regardless of if they did it before.
